Jahjaga: I will not allow headscarves in schools

President of Kosovo , Atifete Jahjaga , in an interview for the program Rubikon KTV , has stated that it will by no means allow headscarves in public schools .
" This is not allowed and will not be allowed as the Republic of Kosovo is a secular state ," she said , speaking of public schools and for girls under 18 years of age .
" There will be allowed to carry headscarf ," ​​she insisted .
In this interview , Jahjaga spoke about the November 3 elections , saying the vote manipulators will receive the punishment they deserve .
" It is important to have the freedom of choice , fair and democratic and fair process and have the electoral process . I appeal for an awareness of all participants and ensure loyalty to the inviolability of the vote , " she said .
