Sold her baby to buy iPhone

A young Chinese couple sold their newborn baby for five thousand pounds, to buy mobile iPhone and other luxury goods. The couple now faces judgment by which provided many years prison sentence. The couple, identified as Ms. Zhang and Mr. Teng, reportedly placed anonymously in newspaper reports, suggesting that they are willing to give the baby, the unborn at the time, in exchange for an amount of 50 000 yuan (£ 5,000) . Shanghai police accused them of trafficking in human beings, because they receive money for their baby, who was born at home and was only a few weeks ago when it was sold.
