The first asteroid discovered filled with water
It was discovered for the first time a body of water rich in stone outside the Solar System . This means that there are two main elements of life . This body is the remains of a stony asteroid or perhaps a small planet destroyed by an explosion parent star . This rare discovery was published in the journal " Science " , by a team led by Jay Farihi , British scientist at the University of Cambridge . The solar system of which the body , with a distance of 170 light years , gives a sort of prediction of what might become our planet and other planets of the solar system when the sun goes out . It is actually the first time that water is detected outside our Solar System . This system is far off is also an opportunity to study the formation and evolution of habitable planets and can understand how life formed on Earth . It was discovered a quantity of oxygen , which according to experts could not have come from minerals but the water that contained this passage . Previously it was an asteroid with a diameter of about 90 kilometers ( or greater ) , consisting of 26 % to 28 % of water . The amount of water is equivalent to the amount of some asteroids that were in front of the Solar System . It is believed that the bombing of such heavenly bodies , earth , dry the water is then filled and enriched water . " The discovery of large amounts of water in these facilities means that such asteroids have existed and continue to exist as possibly habitable planets ," said Farihi , one of the researchers at Cambridge University in the UK . / A.Ş / a.y / NOA
